Summer Lift Passes

Verbier’s magnificent slopes play host to many types of people in the summer months. Climbers, mountain bikers and hikers all enjoy the mountain walkways and bike paths, and there are a variety of passes that help you make the most of the fantastic surroundings.

It’s free to take your bike on a lift. On chairlifts, they get hung on a rack at the rear of the chair, and the lift station staff are very helpful in mounting them there for you (and – thankfully – slowing down the lift to give you time to get on and off)! It’s also free to take a paraglider (or a dog) on the lifts, and lifts are free for children aged 6 and under, and seniors aged 75 or older.

Individual journey tickets

You can pay to use Verbier’s lifts for single journeys in the summer, or on an up-and-back-down basis with selected lifts (handy if you are a pedestrian and just want to pop up the mountain to take in the view or for a spot of lunch). Return tickets are available on the following routes: Le Châble–Verbier, Verbier–Les Ruinettes, Verbier–Savoleyres and La Tzoumaz Savoleyres. Single-only tickets are available for all of those routes, plus Verbier–La Chaux and Le Châble–Les Ruinettes (where return tickets are NOT available). Prices start at around 10CHF (roughly £6) for a one-way adult journey.
