How do I add a property to the site?

You can add one or more properties whenever you wish, and it’s a simple process:

  • Select a listing package – We offer a short-term 6-month listing as well as three 12-month listings, each of which provides different features and tools. View listing packages;
  • Add the information about your chalet – including a text description, the prices for renting it, and a selection of images and/or videos, copied from your computer;
  • Save it – you can edit it again later;
  • Pay for your listing – You are then prompted to pay for your listing, which will take you to our PayPal page where you can pay with a credit or debit card.

Your property will go live on the website immediately – generally within a few minutes of you paying for it.

What sort of images and videos can I upload?

You can add text, images or videos to your listing.

File formats
Compatible file formats for images and videos include:
Images: .JPEG, .GIF or .PNG,
Vidoes: .FLV, .MP4 or .MP3

File sizes
Our website is designed to resize images on the screen, but as with any website, there is an optimum size for your uploads. If images and videos are too large, they will take a long time to display; if they are too small, they will not show your property at its best.

As a guide, we suggest using images with a resolution of 72dpi, of about 150Kb – 350Kb in size, with dimensions of around 15cm (width) x 10cm (height).

Videos should be a maximum of 5MB in size.

Altering image file sizes (a quick short-cut for PC users)
There are many pieces of software that will help you reduce the size of an image to the optimum size (raw images from cameras tend to be rather large). Cependant, a quick short-cut for Windows PC users is to open an image in Photo Gallery and click to Email it. This prompts you to resize it before emailing it. Simply select a smaller size, email it to yourself, and hey presto!

How much does it cost to advertise my property?

We offer a range of pricing options, depending on how long you want your property to be advertised for, and what features you want to be included.

To prevent your property from vanishing from the website when your listing package expires, it will automatically renew at the end of its term, and a new payment will be taken from your PayPal account. If you do not want to renew your listing at the end of its term, written notice must be sent by email to customerservices@just-verbier.com at least two weeks prior to the expiry date of the listing, in good time for the property in question to be removed from the Website.

How do I pay for my property listing?

When you add a property listing, you will be asked to pay via PayPal. This allows you to pay by credit or debit card.

When you confirm your payment through PayPal, you will be instructing PayPal to make a recurring payment to us, so that your listing will automatically renew at the end of its term, and will not vanish from the website without your wanting it to. If you do not wish to renew your listing at the end of its term, written notice must be sent by email to customerservices@just-verbier.com at least two weeks prior to the expiry date of the listing, in good time for the property in question to be removed from the Website.

How will I receive enquiries about my property?

With all of our listing packages, enquiries are sent directly to you from the website, by email.

Your property listing will included a button marked ‘Contact’, allowing the prospective tenant to add their details and send you a message to enquire about availability and prices. Their message will be sent to the email address you submitted when registering on the website.

Who deals with cleaning, laundry and key-holding?

The Owner is responsible for all aspects of renting a property to a tenant. This means it is your responsibility to arrange for tenants to gain access to your property, and to co-ordinate cleaning and laundry. We do not take any responsibility for arranging rentals.

You need to make clear what is included in the price you charge. Typiquement, the price you charge will include accommodation, la fourniture de linge de lit et les serviettes, plus laundry and cleaning at the end of a tenant’s stay. If you want to make separate charges for some of these elements, it is important to be clear about it in your property listing.

What happens when my property listing expires?

Your listing will automatically renew at the end of its term, unless you instruct us to terminate it. Written notice must be sent by email to customerservices@just-verbier.com at least two weeks prior to the expiry date of the listing, in good time for the property in question to be removed from the Website.

Can I change the listing package I’m on?

You are not able to change your listing package until it reaches its expiry/renewal date. To do this, you must email us at customerservices@just-verbier.com at least two weeks prior to the expiry date of the listing, requesting that we terminate your listing. Otherwise it will automatically renew and you will be charged for another term. Once we have confirmed that your listing has been terminated, you will have to set up a new listing in the usual fashion, using the online form on the website.

If you want to switch to a different listing package without waiting until the expiry/renewal date, you can still do this. Just email us at customerservices@just-verbier.com, requesting the change. The existing listing will be terminated by us (within 14 journées) and you will need to select your new listing package on the website and set up a new property listing and pay for it using PayPal.

No refund will be made for any balance already paid on your previously existing listing package.
